BAT HOUSE FOR 50+ RESIDENTS
SEE BELOW FOR 3 VIDEOS OF BATS!
Our popular bat house accommodates over 50 bats and is ideal for a nursing colony. The vertical house contains 4 chambers and can be easily mounted by a hanger on a building or a tree. It has good air flow and room for the bats to move up or down. It is best to hang two bat houses, one in front and one in back of your house, because bats will be able to choose the best spot for them. Since bats are sensitive to cold, it is recommended that you bat house be hung in a mostly sunny spot, away from tree limbs. The higher you mount your bat house, the more favorable it will be to new occupants who need the house at least ten feet off the ground. Bats eat lots of insects and especially mosquitoes!
Our bat house measures 19"h x 9-1/2"w x 7-1/2"d
